marccrosby Report post Posted January 19, 2013 Careful, much of the land area just east of Oracle is the Oracle State Park/Wildlife Refuge. No hunting allowed. As far as town laws I don’t believe there are any. But you must still be ¼ mile, about 440 yards, from any occupied structure. Also if you get permission get it in writing to protect your butt. Many of the larger tracks of land are ranch owned and many of them have been opened to hunting by foot traffic. They just haven’t taken down signs and they don’t plan too. These areas are open ; A-7 Ranch in Units 32 and 33, Oracle Ridge Property in Unit 33, Six Bar Ranch in Unit 33. Per http://www.azgfd.gov/h_f/hunting_rules.shtml Look towards the bottom of the page. Oracle is an unincorporated town in Pinal County, Arizona. There are no elected officials, no mayor and no town council. All regulations and laws are enacted and administered by Pinal County. Good Luck.
DrRx09 Report post Posted January 20, 2013 Don't believe the 1/4 mile rule applies to bow hunting if that's the OP's plan. I'd say go for it
dieselroe Report post Posted January 22, 2013 1/4 mile does not apply to bow, although not advertised.
