PelaPapas Report post Posted January 10, 2013 How's it goin everyone? I was looking to get a used bow for hunting. nothing expensive right now as I am new to bow hunting. I have a guy offer me a PSE Citation II. he sent me pics and it looks good. He said its about 3.5-4 years old and has been restrung 2 times (last time in Nov.'11). I tried looking up some info on it with no luck. Can anyone tell me about these? Are these any good? How much are worth? Any help is greatly appreciated! mr.smith Report post Posted January 11, 2013 I'm pretty sure they stopped making that model in the late 90's. I would guess $200-$250 wouldn't be too much for it. You could get a brand new PSE Rally package for $350 -ish.
PelaPapas Report post Posted January 11, 2013 Ok. So is the $200-250 price is how much it cost new , or is that the value you would say its worth right now? I'm looking to trade a tac light for a handgun rail for it, should I trade?
maximus Report post Posted January 11, 2013 that is how much it cost new, i used to have a pse nova, i bought it brand new for 250.00. you should go to a proshop and buy a package unless you are paying 100-150 for that bow.

I was looking to trade a LNIB Itac Defense light/laser for the bow. Should I do it? Is it a fair trade?
elpepe25 Report post Posted January 11, 2013 It’s probably a fair trade value wise, however, you'd be better off getting something newer that fits you and can still find parts for. Bowhunting is hard enough, no need to be handicapped by dinosaur equipment unless that is the challenge you choose to pursue. Bows usually are not one size fits all and all the same style wise. Differing feels, draw lengths, draw weight etc. The odds of someone else’s specs lining up w/ yours exactly are rare.
