That's an old action that has been re-finished. Also the stock looks to be a McMillan. It is painted and I would say by the pic it is deffinately Not factory. I think you have more than just a $575 gun. What do you know about it?

It looks like it is a used Browns Precision rifle. It has their stock and a different trigger.

I don't know anything about the rifle and the guy I am helping doesn't remember what it was.

He bought a lot of his guns at Outdoorsmans here in town.

I will take it to them and have it looked at.
