vegasjeep Report post Posted August 13, 2006 I went out scouting a for a few days and came across 11 does and 8 yes 8 bucks. I saw a few three pointer to be where the ends of their antlers were dog bone looking but not yet gre and they had great eye guards and first points. The first pic was a nice spike that willl fork his first year. This buck here gets no justice as it has four points on eac side. Not eastern counting like including eyeguards this is four points on each side not counting eye guards. He was big and the body is also matching his size. This deer is going to have some nice measurements to it. I saw a deer close to thios one during pig season that was easily 120" 4 point buck. this one was about 2 miles as the crow flies away and could be in the gene pool. his rack looks alot like another on the wall that scored 115" rear view of him running away

Coues79 Report post Posted August 13, 2006 dang, I don't know if I'm more impressed with the buck or how GREEN it is where you were at! That buck will be a toad! JIM> I was thinking the same thing. It looks like a jungle wherever that is. Without any specifics, what unit is this in? These deer should be some porkers in a few weeks.

vegasjeep Report post Posted August 14, 2006 Its unit 36b, its a big unit I am not worried about you taking my buck!! I actually saw this buck twice over two days. I am confident i can find him again. If not I can find two others that are 90" plus come hunting time. I accidently ran over my camera and it got stuck in camera mode. I do have a camera mode of a buck that will be around 90" when grown as it is alreayd pretty big. It just needs to have the 2nd and 3rd points break and grow as they look like the end of a dog bone. Anyone know where to host a media video? I have it from my camnera, Its a little hard to see but you can see it. I had REALLY bad allergies and have not had them in along time down their. The grass and bushes are so tall i saw a heard of javelina and when my brother in law went to go check them out on the mountain he was chest high and said, "I wont see them anyways" LOL

I believe it's in reference to all of the GREENERY in the pics. Coronado national monument (over to the east of 36b) got 8 inches of rain in 24hours.
