southernxpress Report post Posted January 9, 2013 Heck a 1/3 of an acre is way more than I have... I live in an area that is questionable as to wether or not I should even have them. Like Anderson_HotD mentioned she has 20 acres... shoot with that much you would probably rarely have to even buy food for them. Right now I spend probably about $60 or so a month on food. As far as hiking in and building a pen or something for them.. it would have to be a pretty good pen as they are pretty good at escaping. I don't find it a problem having them right there with me on the trail and then when I get something.. saves the trip of going back to get help .. you already have 3 helpers to pack your monster out. And in case anyone is wondering Kooter is being a wise guy.. they have never kicked anyone and JeffCros is right... I guess I'm selling my little buddies... You guys are goofy! southernxpress Report post Posted February 8, 2013 I think you know my boss... I could call in sick if you want... I would ten times rather be hunting anyways! And the goats love it too.
Big Browns Report post Posted February 8, 2013 If I could convince my wife to sell the house and buy one with a bigger back yard I would own these goats! They are very very cool! Maybe then I wouldn't be such a baby to sleep alone in the scary woods:)
