CouesWhitetail Report post Posted December 31, 2012 Hello, Many of you know my husband works as the event coordinator for Boyce Thomspon Arboretum in Superior. They are having an event called Welcome Back Winter Visitors and the couple catering the event really want to cook up some javelina. If anyone wants to donate any, see the email below and contact them directly. I believe the event is Jan 7, so they would need the meat ASAP! Would you donate a javelina 1/4, or a couple roasts for an event here at BTA? As part of our Welcome Back Winter Visitors weekend chef eric from tall Order Catering wants to serve: "Snowbird Stew" we both thought javelina would be a cool key ingredient - and a chance to teach visitors that javies 1) are tasty 2) aren't rodents eric & terri live in chandler - if any of your readers want to arrange a donation they can call chef eric at 480.278.0827 or email eric@tallordercatering.com or connect at http://www.facebook.com/TallOrderCatering

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted January 3, 2013 I think Gr8whitejr is donating some of his javelina and he lives in the Valley near them, so I think they will get it from him. But thanks so much for offering yours up, jim!
