Tines Report post Posted August 30, 2006 If you fixed the problem, great. This is what simplifies it for me. Longer cable= Decrease in draw length and weight. Shorter cable= Increase in draw length and weight. Longer string= Increase in draw length and weight. Shorter string= Decrease in draw length and weight. I'm curious as to what set-up you have. I've NEVER heard of a bow losing more than 20fps. I understand your cable may have stretched but cables don't stretch like strings. Did you chrono it with the same chrono, arrow and bow set-up? For a cable to stretch enough to lose 20fps, you're figuring DL would have in turn decreased approximately 1 1/2". That's a lot! Sorry if I made things even more complicated. Seriously, glad to hear your bow is back to factory specifications.
coueshunter84 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 I have always used custom strings, Never had more then 1/8-1/4 turn on the peep over the life of any of my strings. And I get them changed every year. . I dont mind paying a little more for the customs. I think its $75 for new strings and super tune.
