Recommended Posts

Ever get a close look at your dog on the run? They're.... well..... interesting. This one's for the canines that make life so much better. Post up the pics if you got 'em.

Here is Julie oh so Happy again because she found an elk leg in the woods near our friends house. She brought it back and rolled around on the grass chewing it up!!

and here she is staring at the same friend's cat...she can't help it! She would try scooting a little bit closer now and then. She really wanted to chase that cat!

I remember when you had a "name the dog" contest for Julie. She's pretty. How old is she now?

That was a fun contest!! I think she is about 6 or 7 now. She is getting all gray in the face and sometimes her hips bother her, but she still is young at heart! We actually thought she would never live past age 4 because she has NO fear of anything and leaps off cliffs and runs into trees and barbed wire fences at full speed when she is chasing something sometimes! I spend a lot of my time gasping and shrieking when I watch Julie fly through the desert and forest! She is a super athlete! She always wants to carry things and she greets me every morning by jumping up on the bed carrying either some socks, my hiking boots or the TV remote!! She doesn't chew them up, just carries them around. She loves being a retriever!
