MuggyMan Report post Posted December 21, 2012 Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm bow hunting deer for the first time in Arizona (I have filled 2 cow elk tags in 3 years of hunting). I usually hunt 4A or 4B, but am now hunting 24A. Went out the first time the other day, all I saw was a monster jack rabbit. Was in the Timber Camp area. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to hunt in 24A? Or other open areas within a 2 hour drive of Chandler? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks. trophyhnter Report post Posted December 21, 2012 Look that the G&F webpage and you will find deer in all the place they tell you about! Sevenmile wash area is a good area. In 24b, the supersitiion mountions are a great place to get away from people and see deer! Unit 22 from the ballantine trial to mt ord to the rim are all good place. Unit 23, any place off the road to young can be great! All pretty general but they you will find deer!
