B55801AZ Report post Posted December 16, 2012 We glassed up this amazing buck on the second morning of my October Coues hunt. Unfortunately I was not able to get a shot at him before a doe got his attention and like they always do, he disappeared. We were able to get a few seconds of video while I tried to set up for the shot. All I could do was watch the video over and over again (see video below). Each time the buck seemed to get bigger. We then spent the next 3 days in the exact same spot hoping to find him again. Then finally on the fourth day after the first sighting I glassed up the buck again with about forty five minutes left in the evening. As I attempted to set up on him he disappeared three times. Each time the tension grew. Finally he walked into the only opening left before he would have been gone for good. I settled in and squeezed the trigger. He took a couple of steps and down he went. What an amazing experience… truly a buck and a hunt of a lifetime. He scored 121 4/8 gross and 120 4/8 net. Video
