ok dumb question

I have never worried about colecting points for elk etc. I applied this year for elk and did not get drawn. Now... how do you get points to get drawn later? How do the points work? I show not drawn online but i have no points

The points will show up later ( actually sooner than later) , but here is the info on the AZG&F website:

NOTE: These Bonus Points reflect the status after the 2006 spring draw. Please check back later for updated bonus points. Your Hunter Ed Bonus Point is included for each species if applicable.[

They keep track and it will show 1 for Elk when you log back in (after they've sorted out the Fall draw).

 

Bummer on the Elk draw, another suggestion is to get your hunter ed point if you havent' it can be the clincher, between being drawn and not.

Yeah, pay the cash for the class, take a couple notes, sleep through the videos and then take the test. Kind of like Biology in high school. It's a super easy way to get a bonus point that never goes away.

Hunter Education Course will give you an extra point,for every year you apply and din't get drawn you'll get another bonus point for each year and if you apply 5 years in a row will give you another point called loyalty bonus point.

It took me 7 years to get an elk tag,I had 8 bonus points at the time I got drawn: 7 for 7 unsucesfull years plus my Hunter Ed.bonus point = 8 points. The loyalty bonus point did not exist back then.At this moment I got 5 bonus points.
