J Parrish Report post Posted December 13, 2012 Hey guys, waiting for 22 to open up but going to head out and do a little hunting this weekend in 24b or 21. debating between the two. seen bucks in both units quail hunting. anyone seen any signs of the rut in the lower elevations for muleys? would like some tips on where to start if anyone has done some scouting there recently. JLW Report post Posted December 13, 2012 do what you know... where you've seen bucks. don't think the big ones are going just yet but you can bet they are cruising checking scents and scrapes. get up high and glass. with the cooler weather/new moon, winter solstice, stars aligning, planets spinning, the wind blowing just right; the bucks should stay out longer cruising main street looking for a hot date.
