KGAINES Report post Posted August 8, 2006 wow nice bucks for sure...hope they spread there genes before u killed them Just thinking out loud here, wouldn't the does in the area also be carrying the same genetic make up and be able to pass it on to their sons ? Those are some nice bucks.

drgonzales Report post Posted August 8, 2006 I know where you are talking about H4H. Did you draw any tags this year? I drew a Unit 27 tag. Still gonna hunt these canyons next month. My niece drew that area for the Jr.'s hunt.
hunt4horns Report post Posted August 8, 2006 I have a 33 coues hunt in Nov. Take your niece to that place and it's a closed deal, don't even take camping gear............ won't need it !
drgonzales Report post Posted August 8, 2006 My brother said that one of his ranchers has granted him permission for her to hunt on his land. He has 9 sections and says that there has been no one hunting on that land for years and years. He was saying that during the surveys that they saw 2 different herds of over 70 deer on that land. If anyone has drawn a 27/28 WT I saw 2 that were at least in the 90" range, velvet may have fooled me but shooters by most standards.
Gr8 White Jr Report post Posted August 9, 2006 I have a 33 coues hunt in Nov. Take your niece to that place and it's a closed deal, don't even take camping gear............ won't need it ! Hey hunt4horns! Just joined the sight last week. I drew a 33 coues tag also. Have you had this hunt before? Did you get the first or the second hunt. I got the second hunt and I also got a 33 javelina tag at the same time so I am hoping to kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah I guide there all the time, hunting is good once you get away from the crowd but with my experience you'll find the coues a lot higher than your gonna find the rodents. Where do you plan on hunting ? I have the second hunt but a client of mine has the first hunt so i will be there a whole bunch in a short period of time. H4H........
