Found Dead Cow Elf

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine is in 6A looking to fill his bull elk tag. This morning he was out on FR-9465K and the FR-132A and ran into a dead cow elk. Its right before you get to the 9465K off 132A on the east side of the hill. He said it looks like it was shot last night. I have never had this happen and unsure what to do? Please advise!

maybe give a call to G$F......

they have a list of all the permit holders.

hope the spend time trying to find it... I hate when people don't put forth effort and go shoot another 1.

Last I heard shooting "Elf's" was just wrong!!!! Santa will put a lump of coal in your stocking for shooting an Elf.....! Did it have a pointy hat? Was it wearing tight green pants? LOL made my day! Never even heard of a "Dead Cow Elf" ....... LOL

Reported to gf definitely shot last night right off the road an fell in plain sight these hunters knew what they did and just left it. After this hunt not sure I'm proud to be apart of these so called hunters. Finding a dead cow elf now that's the only thing that has made me happy lol.

The Game and Fish does not deal with "ELFs". Now if you find a BULL ELF that would be a good story. LOL ;)

not everyone is like that... in fact I would say they are few

that just makes us despise poacher thieves... and worse they left it to waste!

I maybe could see if they needed meat to feed the family ......

maybe 1 of those yayhoos you saw spotlightin the other morning

lets see if you can put a B&C bull elf down. LOL!

keep at it!

Let me just say cow elf is going to be a joke for life around our camp. Poor huntaz4life maybe that cow elf will hang with that elusive raven that eats trout, lol.

James remind me to make sure I turn off all my lights in the house the next time you wonder through our neighborhood. You have way to much time on your hands. Makes sense now why you are always staring out the back gate when you come over. LOL

What a waste. They should have owned up to the mistake and let that meat be used for something productive, rather than leaving it there to rot.

As to the Elf ... she isn't a "cow" ... she's just "big boned"     ... sorry ... had to say it.
