John O Report post Posted November 30, 2012 Had a great hunt down south with my two boys this last weekend. We had several close calls with deer, but no antlers on the ground. Jake was able to take this little female javelina at 200 yards mid-afternoon on the second day. Jake was only 10 when he shot his first big game animal, a javelina in unit 33. Since then, these little critters have found a way to elude him each year until now. He and his brother were excited to say the least. As you can see, the boys have grown some since. Very few things compare to these good times with my boys, and I recognize more every year the limited time we have to share these special experiences together.
