1ST KAIBAB EXPERIENCE

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to drop a few lines down regarding my first opportunity to hang out in the Kaibab with some very special people! Firstly I want to thank Allen Taylor for inviting me up to stay in his tent with his son Travis and a couple other good people! Allen was once again in the camp of the very well known Kaibab guru Duwane Adams, and all I can say is if Mr. Adams is as good an outfitter as he is a person he has to be one of the best, if not the best outfitter ever! Seriously folks, my brief time with Mr. Adams, his son Luke, Chef from this site and Mark Bollinger was one of my most favorite experiences in hunting 40+ years. For as known accomplished hunters as these guys are I was made to feel comfortable right away, there was no self bloating of story telling and a very humble atmosphere altogether! I may sound sickening to some of you but for a 50 year old man to come away feeling this good about an experience and I didn't even have a tag that has to say something! Again, thank you Allen for this wonderful experience and also for being a good friend!

Kirk,

Fun times indeed!

The Kaibab is producing great bucks again this year and it has been fun being in one of my favorite places again.

Duwane's camp has been harvesting some beautiful bucks:

Allen's son took his very first mule deer and what a buck!

A new friend from Cottonwood took a 28" wide buck that went 191"!

Allen took a super buck yesterday!

More to come including pictures!...

I just got off the phone with Allen.

He has crossed the big ditch and is now coming off the mountain into the valley tonight.

He'll be posting his story and photos soon!
