Couzer Report post Posted November 25, 2012 + 5 2 years ago I hiked over to a ridge to start glassing and realized that my stud came off my 15's. It was clearly lost somewhere in the brush. Lesson learned is to make sure every part is nice and tightened down before you go hiking. I ended up putting some blue locktite on the threads of the new stud for extra peace of mind. Anyways the Outdoorsmans is a great product!
Diamondbackaz Report post Posted November 25, 2012 Get the outdoorsman adapter and never look back!! Will work better then swaro and cheaper to boot. How does it work better??? I have had both, and both are good products except the outdoorsmans adapter doesn't allow the swaros to fully close for my narrow IPD.
nighthawk Report post Posted November 25, 2012 IMO the design of the outdoorsmen has less room for error. Plus my dad has the swaro adapter and over time it weakend. One time he had his binos fall out of it.
kwp Report post Posted November 25, 2012 IMO the design of the outdoorsmen has less room for error. Plus my dad have the swaro adapter and over time it weekend and one time had his binos fell out of it. I've seen binos fall off the swaro adapter as well. The outdoorsmans screws down so there is no way of the binos falling off.

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted November 26, 2012 I use the Jim White adapter for my 15x56s and love it. It's less expensive than most others but very well made... it's also lighter weight and smaller...you can get it in the CW.com store.... http://store.coueswhitetail.com Outdoorsmans adapter is a great one as well!
