Ghosthunter Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Try a little break cleaner. When mine start to get sticky I'll spray them down and be sure to lube the cases.
Couzer Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Careful not to put to much on the outside, it doesn't take much. One thing that has helped me is to lube the inside of the brass where the bullet is seated. I have had a few stuck cases, but eliminated this when I started lubing the inside. I use brake cleaner to clean the lube off. I've only had problems with the large caliber rounds. Hopefully this helps.

AzHuntingAddict Report post Posted November 22, 2012 What kind of case lube are you using? I got rid of the stuck cases by using the sizing wax instead of the lube greese stuff.
10Turkeys Report post Posted November 22, 2012 I usually clean my dies with Hoppes and then wipe them off with some kind of spray lube. Midway used to sell a swab that fit inside the dies just right. If your cases are getting stuck you are not using enough lube. I use Imperial sizing wax, I think it's Redding now by putting some on a lube pad and then roll the cases across it, try not to get any lube on the necks or when you resize your cases you will get dents in your necks. Then take a small amount of lube and brush the inside of the necks where the expander ball goes through the case. After I resize the brass, clean up the primer pockets, and chamfer the necks, I will put the brass in a tumbler to get the lube off. However you decide to do it just keep enerything consistent, if you do it for one do for all. Just my .02.
azslim Report post Posted November 22, 2012 I like the RCBS spray lube, put my cases in a box top, spray the down, then rub the lube all over the case as I'm putting it in the press, never had a stuck case. Would also tumble first, then clean the necks with a brush before going to the press.

azgutpile Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Gun scrubber is too expensive. Also, hoppers leave a little oil after it dries, which isn't goo inside the cases.
Coach Report post Posted November 23, 2012 I always use the case lube by Frankford Arsenal. Not too much on the outside- I roll them on a paper towell. But you also have to lube up some q-tips and hit the inside of the neck. I've only had a few stuck, but it's usually the inside neck that sticks and it can ruin a resizing die really quick.
