Big Tub Report post Posted November 16, 2012 I took a buddy out for his first hunt (both of us are old guys). While we didn't see any decent bucks with all the wind, we did see 2 little bucks that were acting crazy. At about 600 yards they were stirring up the does chasing them all over the place. I got to see the bigger one do a lip curl while chasing a doe. Isn't this awfully early? We did see two nice mule deer bucks and one was huge!
elkhunter Report post Posted November 16, 2012 Anytime the temps drop down, expect the young ones to get confused, last I heard coues deer cant read a calendar. I did see a fork horn mount a doe in July before, was a rather chilly evening in july

mklong40 Report post Posted November 18, 2012 been out two consecutive weekends and watched very small bucks birddog the doe's. I think they are acting tuff while they can. Watched two bucks with a little mass on them and they had no interest in doe's.....cold weather last weekend confused the little guys. They gotta get it while they can!! DeerHunter3x3 Report post Posted November 28, 2012 I was out hunting and I saw a big 3x3 who was chasing away a spike and there may have been a 2x2 with him. He then got what he wanted, the doe. I later on shot him. But I was surprised because it was very windy and cold. Redington Pass coues Whitetail
