Healy Arms Report post Posted November 14, 2012 Calling in a Lion at night... Ballzy... Good for you man He prefers to call by himself - he was alone on this hunt - shot the lion at 30 yards (about 18 inches from the call)

HxCDistance Report post Posted November 30, 2012 How late at night are you calling these guys in? Are you setting up at dusk and waiting for nightfall or are you getting out after the sun goes down?
Healy Arms Report post Posted November 30, 2012 How late at night are you calling these guys in? Are you setting up at dusk and waiting for nightfall or are you getting out after the sun goes down? It varies - but typically Dave is going out right after dark. As the full moon comes up later & later - we correspondingly go out later. Some lions get called around 8-9pm and others at 2-3am
diehard Report post Posted December 15, 2012 A buddy of mine shot one last year with a shotgun, he took it to a taxidermy buddy of his and they called a game and fish to sign it off or check it in what ever the matter was. When G&F got there he ask where and how, they were calling coyote and foxes and because he shot the lion with a shotgun G&F took the lion from him and told him he wrongfully took the lion. Does anyone know how true it is??? Can you or can't you shoot lion's with a shotgun?????
