Remember to be thankful for your spouse!

Recommended Posts

In the past year I have had two friends lose their husbands to cancer. These were great men and fully supported their wives hunting. It is just so sad to think that they have lost their best friends. They were too young to die, but cancer would not let go of them. So please remember to give your spouse an extra hug....you just never know how long you get to have with them. So much of what we do in life wouldn't be possible without supportive spouses!

Thoughts and prayers to help heal the greif your freinds must be going through. It's so easy to loose sight of the little things in life. My wife spent all day yesterday shopping and preparing my meals for my upcoming elk hunt and yes I thanked her. We certainly shouldn't take our spouse for granted. I will try to thank her more often for the things she brings and does in my life.

Thank you Amanda for the reminder.

Yes, thanks for the reminder. I will always be thankful for my wonderful husband. He has been a great mentor to me, has taught me alot, during which time we butted heads a lot also, but it has been the best ride of my life. I am looking forward to the rest of our lives together, to have many more memories made together.

I do need to thank him more often....Mark, thanks for all you do for me and I love you with all my heart.

AMEN!! I have a wonderful wife! She has tolerated my hunting addiction for 30 years. When I am feeling guilty for a week long hunt coming up, and think she's going to let me have it....she turns around and helps me with grocery shopping and food prep. I'd be suspicious that she's eager to get me out of the house for a while, but when I return, she has shampooed all the carpet, or rearranged the furniture, or painted a room, or.... She helps me unload the truck and park the trailer when I return. Probably the most painful thing for her to endure is listening to my stories  but she does anyway.

I love that woman!

I am so so thankful. I love my husband more than words can ever express. He is my everything-husband, best friend, supporter, etc. etc. and my most favorite hunting buddy! The best part of our relationship is I am confident I am the same for him. I have so much to be thankful for.
