bigorange Report post Posted November 9, 2012 Awfully quiet on here for opening day of a hunt...hopefully everyone is packing out and hasn't had a chance to post pics yet! Any luck? Looking cloudy, rainy, and windy in the southern units...heading to 36B on Monday to help my buddy if he hasn't tagged out by then. 200"mulie Report post Posted November 10, 2012 terrible this mourning for me anyway. Walked some small canyons in the rain, didnt see a single deer but plenty of sign. Got to my trail cam that WAS STILL around lol .... got up in the wind but the sun came out for awhile. Saw a glimpse of 2 deer and was for sure a buck a nice buck. Hiked over torward where i had thought they bedded (or so i thought) down. Did see anything move or hear anyhting bust out. Got back to camp tried to set the tent trailer up..... but got stuck half way bearing gave out. Unbolted the wires that pop the trailer up. And now sitting here about to post couple pics of what was on the trail cam. open mourning wasnt so great. But going out tomorrow!! calling for rain early turning into sunshine in the afternoon and a bit windy. Hopefully everyone else is having a great time !! az_shooter Report post Posted November 10, 2012 Shot my buck in the late October hunt and my GF got her first deer opening morning for the early November hunt, also had a couple buddies tag out this morning too, one of them with a decent 3x2 probable high 70's maybe low 80's. Guest akaspecials Report post Posted November 10, 2012 Rainy in the morning and windy all day down south. The wind kept them bedded up. We finished today seeing 6 does and 1 buck. As we were getting the rifle steady on the buck an atv pulled into the waterhole and scared him off. Not a terrible day but not great. Haven't seen a single buck down yet.
