akuritone Report post Posted November 8, 2012 I bought this from a member on here a year or two ago. It is EXTREMELY accurate. I went through load developement and then decided it was just too heavy for what i intended to do with it. I have load data that was punching the same hole at 100yds. $500. Located near Bass Pro The below information is from the gentleman that sold it to me. McGowen 26" Heavy Barrel. Stainless Steel(it is painted black to reduce glare) Trigger work(it is not an Accutrigger but WAY better than most savage triggers I have shot) Oversized Bolt Handle HS Precision Stock(The barrel lug looks to have been glass bedded) Adjustable cheek rest(The stock has 4 holes drilled through it. I removed this but it is included) Ken Farrel 20moa scope base Here are my observations(I am no gunsmith) The rear swivel stud has been replaced(there are two holes where the stud goes. One has a stud, one is an open hole) The reciever, I believe, is a long action. The magazine box has a spacer in it to accomodate 223. The model of the Ken Farrel base confirms long action. The rifle is no safe queen but is built for accuracy and accuracy is what you will get Jeff
