TREESTANDMAN Report post Posted August 1, 2006 Has anyone ever heard of Charter Arms? I have the option of purchasing a .38 special Police bulldog for a pretty good price. .270 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 they make a good, solid, reasonably priced revolver. that's what their business is based on. not saturday night specials, but not real expensive. usually have fewer moving parts than a smith or ruger of the same style. and, the son of sam used one. only it was a .44 special.
