HUNTnTAT2 Report post Posted November 6, 2012 got these two bucks the opening morning. my grandfather missed the big one of the herd. a 160-170 non typical. could have been 3 for 3 opening morning. hunted a herd that kept sneakin into private land with another really nice buck in it the rest of the trip, sunday was spent watching football, playin horseshoes, a few cold ones and an evening scouting for an upcoming Elk hunt. missed church but who needs it when ur in God's country. lol 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

HUNTnTAT2 Report post Posted November 13, 2012 Thanks all. Should have seen the buck my grandpa missed.... yes in 8. It was very dry n a lil warm. We did an evening hunt lower in the cedars out west. Alota sheep n cows. Gotta be up threre again the 30th for an elk hunt. Brrrrrrr.. yes the smaller buck was a headshot. Lol. Said he was tryna salvage as much meat as possible.
