m77 Report post Posted July 30, 2006 We used TR Taxidermy for my son's muley. He completed the mount in 1999 and it still looks as good today as the day he completed it. Have his phone number with you and call him on your way in. If he's at home he'll meet you at the shop. heck of a nice guy. I watched him do a polar bear in 99. The base looked like real snow and ice. If you get up that way scouting, stop in and take a look at the work he is doing. We used him because a great number of the locals suggested TR Taxidermy. AZP&Y Report post Posted July 31, 2006 Just picked up my cow mount a couple of weeks ago @ Signature in Flagstaff. I thought they did an outstanding job- I poked my head in behind the scenes and they had some AWESOME BULLS that were in the process of mounting. Not to mention a lion taking down a Mule Deer as you walking in the shop (life size). Good luck with your hunt and hope you get the MONARCH of the woods. Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 31, 2006 I have been using TR Taxidermy since moving to Flag 15 years ago. Tim Rajsich has done 10 mounts for me. That Polar Bear he did for a local hunter is a neat mount. Stop by his shop when you come up on a scouting trip. Three of the mounts Tim has done for me. He has also done two elk.
