Too hot.,full moon,too hot,half the unit posted no hunting,too hot,the rest of the hunters on the six huntable roads that get you anywhere,too hot and too hot. coues4u Report post Posted November 2, 2012 VERY tough hunt, it seemed like so many things were against us. The full moon, the HEAT, all the hunters everywhere on quads. On several occasions me and my dad hiked into areas we thought had no roads according to the map, we would sit down and start glassing only to have hunters come driving in on quads and firing handguns etc. I glassed up some deer a few mornings but couldnt get close enough for a shot before they dissapeared over ridges or into thick brush. The afternoons were so hot I had a very hard time glassing any deer in the afternoon. I don't think I would ever put in for this hunt for my dad or me in the future.
