Guest oneshot Report post Posted October 16, 2012 Two weeks on the Island were awesome with many Bones landed, permit cast to, (no hook-ups to Permit) and great sights, dolphins, eagle rays, sea turtles, super sunrises and of course the outstanding meals served with rum-heaven-in-a glass drinks, lobster and conch... Turneffe has golden bonefish, a color that shows no where else in the world(???). I cast to a few golden bones but no hook-ups, I did catch this golden eyed bone though, very cool.... My guide Mike with an avg. sized bone.. Baracudas were a problem, they stayed around us and took the bones as went to land them, when a 3ft long 'cuda smashes into your fish at your feet as you go to release them it's realy makes you look around every fish to make sure it's clear and 'cuda free...
