Swaro needing repair OMG at hunting season

Recommended Posts

Can you believe one side of my swaros are blurry. I got a service number from swaro and will be next day airing them to get repaired but the lady said it could take 4 to 5 weeks to get them back. Has anyone ever sent theirs out for repair during season and if so how long did it take to get back? I am sooo freakin disgusted. She actually said I should have not waited...LOL. During the week they worked fine and this weekend they did not work..LOL

It only took about 10 days to get mine back a few years ago. I'm not happy with Swarovski warranty service compared to Vortex. For the money Swarovski should be much better than everyone else, but there not! I had a riffle scope break last thursday. I over nighted it on Friday to Vortex. I spoke with them today and they have already over nighted it back to me repaired, no charge! That is exellent service!!!!!!!!! Swarovski used to have the best warranty, but they have gone away from service. I wonder how long it will take them to go away from quality!

It should take 10 to 14 days. Had to send my 15's in once and that's all it took. I just sent in a rifle scope for them to repair and it was done in 2 weeks. I worked with Pam and she said the repair dept. Is swamped so the standard time frame they tell people 4-6 weeks just in case it takes longer than usual.

I just got two pairs back last month. I thought the service was very good but it did take about 3 weeks but I shipped them slow boat. I would guess 10 days should be very reasonable.

Call them up and tell them you are a guide and you have hunters that will be looking through them as well. If you talk with the right person they will send you out a lowner pair while yours are getting fixed. I know of a couple people that they have done it for. good luck, but they do have a fast turn around.

My buddy Steve Banovich loaned me his Kiababs 15 HD. I owe you big time buddy. I was always wanting another pair so if I like the kiababs then I will more than likely buy a set. Steve saved my life I can now scout..:)

Can you post up the number for their Service Dept? I would like to get a new pair of front lens covers for a pair of 42 EL's. The originals are starting to loosen up but after 8 years thats to be expected.
