huntjunkie Report post Posted October 12, 2012 This story is repeated over and over agin in this country. A good friend of mine (Mike)that I work with oldest son passed away. A little back ground. His son(Ryan)was getting in to trouble. So they sat down and decided that joining the marines would be a great place for Ryan. So Ryan joined the Marines. Long story short Ryan excelled in Marines. He served 3 tours in Afghanistan. He was lucky enough to cheat death more times than I can count. But unfortunately many of his fellow Marines and close friends did not. After returning home a few months ago things in Ryan life started to come unravel. He had a hard time dealing with the loss of his comrades and decided to take his own life. Ryan was his dads pride and joy. Never seen a dad more proud of his son! THANK YOU to all who serve this country!! Now, to think of this story and sit and listen to the president and vice president stand time and time again in front if this country and lie, fabricate, and blatantly device this country is one the most disgraceful things I have ever seen!! They are destroying this country from with in while our young men and woman are doing their job defending it. Shame on you mr. president!!
Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Time and time again we send our troops over seas and don't give them the firepower and tools necessary to take care of business..............you are right, frustrating. Sorry for the lost of a friend............
Pine Donkey Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Often times we send them over seas, or put agents on our boarder with the fire power they need, but we don't allow them to use it. Additionally, when they act to do their jobs in a horrific situations we put them under a legal and public microscope. Everyday I am thankful for those who serve to allow us to have the freedom and security we often take for granted. My condolences to your friends family, and thanks to Ryan for his service. sjvcon Report post Posted October 13, 2012 The Rules of Engagement instituted by this President and his administration are shameful. If he's elected for a Second Term THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THE PEOPLE WHO PUT HIM THERE. The soldiers of this Nation deserve better. They deserve to do the job they are there for without being put in harms way. They deserve help when they get home. Truly tragic. Sorry for your loss.
