When the results came out he went and checked them online, and nothing came up for him(JUST A BLANK PAGE, with his bonus points, it didnt say not drawn or drawn!) He called the dept. and was told that no results are final till Aug. 1st if you put in with a credit card. So he waited till today to call back and demanded an answer he was put in touch with the head of the drawing dept. and was told that his app. was rejected because of them removing the charge from his card!!! HIS CARD HAD BEEN CHARGED 4 times for the apps fees and they assured him if they took any of them off there would be NO PROBLEM!!! Well they took the wrong one off, that corresponded with his application! So now he has to Fax copys of his card statements, print out the online page that is blank and send them to this lady at the draw dept, whom then has to go over it with her boss who then has to send it to the commisioner!!! This is complete Bull S***, they are humans like everyone else, and we all make mistakes, but there has to be some sort of compensation! This only makes me worry more about all the people that i know that were told there apps were rejected due to something(According to the online results) Let me know what you guys think....or if you have heard of ANY SIMALAR PROBLEM!!!! trophyhntr Report post Posted July 28, 2006 My story is slightly different. My credit card had a pending charge on the 20th and the $19.50 finally hit on the 24th of July. The problem is that my father and I applied for deer tags together on one application. So the charge would have to be twice that, right. Well we didn't drawn according to the wed page. Well my brother applied alone so you would think we was drawn..... of course I told him on the 20th that he had a December whitetail tag in 22 or 24B. The pending charge is now a confirmed charge on the CC when I looked online. Well according to the web page he didn't get drawn for anything either. I called the G & F and she said we did not get drawn so I had to talk to the slobs in Tennessee. They did not have a record of a charge to my credit card. I talked to my CC campany and they said the I did have a change from them and if I wanted to dispute the claim...Well no if I got drawn. I called G&F again they still said the online results were correct and I on one would be getting a tag. Called Slobs in Tennessee but they still don't have a record of the charge. I applied for some hunts "on-line" until the system crashed, then I just did the paper apps for the others and dropped them off. The only tags I drew were from the paper apps that I hand delivered. EVERY SINGLE day from here on out begging them to please suspend the online application proccess permenatley!!! It gives us all SUCH BETTER odds of getting drawn! This year so many more people put in again, because it doesnt cost them anything, and thats not right! If someone has some way of getting a group/commitee put together or a letter to the dept. i would be more then happy to get hundreds of signatures from individuals that i know! Not only will it increase all of OUR odds of getting tags, we wont ever have to worry about a HUGE mess up like this again! Let me know what you guys think about that! and ghost hunter, i have friends and family that had the same results! No drawn tags online only paper apps! BASS Report post Posted July 28, 2006 I dropped all of my apps, my dads apps, and my little cousins apps off at about 6:30 the day they were due (yes I'm one of "those" guys). I can't believe how many things got messed up in this draw. It seems like everyone I talk to has either been screwed themselves, or someone close to them. How is it not right by not costing them to apply on line when in the end they pay the same amount. Not to rock the boat but to me that sounds alot like if they cant afford to wait for thier returns then they arnt good enough to hunt with the "wealthy" folks. Does the online app process need to be fixed yes are there too many errors yes. I may have taken your post the wrong way and if i did i am sorry i love to hunt etc but i would never not want my neighbor to be excluded cause of some payment issue. andrewprentice15 Report post Posted July 28, 2006 Everyone needs to realize that the online is here to stay, the only thing you need to start thinking about is the fact that in the next two years AZGFD will have hunter ed online, just like every other state and out of state hunters can get an extra bonus point to help them draw "OUR" tags.
