elkhunter Report post Posted October 12, 2012 *SOLD* Thanks everyone. I want to part with this rifle and start a new set up. This is a Winchester model 70 blackshadow 300 win mag. I bought it from Walmart when I was in high school in 2003, killed my first and all coues with this rifle. It is a very good stock rifle that performs well with Barnes triple shock and hornady bullets, usually got about 6 inch drop with 69 grains of powder The Harris Swivel bipod is 12 and extends to 25 inch. Reloading dies are RBCS. Rifle is $450 Bipod is $100 Dies are $35 I am also interested in trades for Remington rifles. PRDATR Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Great rifle. A friend has one in 300 WSM he bought (against my advice-told him to get a 308) that sits in his safe. He just wanted something for target practice and does not hunt. Too much recoil for him but it is super accurate as are all the other Black Shadow rifles. Very under rated guns. Those 26 inch barrels have kicked my butt a time or two and cause my father to get smacked in the face with ocotillo and mesquites ha. my dad won a 300 wsm and we have worked up some amazing loads with the 300 wsm that we were not able to do with the 300 win mag probably due to recoil, and from that point on I have decided to start a little project, I just need a remmy 300 wsm to start out with! My son and I went through cochlear implant surgeries, just about 400k worth of medical stuff but we didn't pay out of pocket, paying a hefty bill for platinum insurance, don't really have the extra 500 dollars laying around Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
