Big Browns Report post Posted October 10, 2012 My brother in law and I went to Silver Creek for a few hours on Sunday morning. We ended up catching 3 really nice Rainbows and only 2 Apache's. I caught my 2 fish on a Black Flashback nymph on 5x with my 1 wt rod. I had the best luck slowly stripping it. My Brother in law caught his on a prince nymph below a dry dead drifting it. We watched several other guys catch some huge fish using similar techniques. The Apache's were not bitting much while we were there. We didn't measure the fish, but who needs to when they are that big. It was an Awesome day!

Big Browns Report post Posted October 12, 2012 My Brother in law went back on Wednesday. He caught a couple of nice Apache's, but no big fish. He did see 6 large snakes! He said they were all over the place. He walked in around 10 and left around 3pm. I'm sure the snakes are out that time of day compared to early morning. Keep your eye out for those nasty, scary creatures!!!!!!!! I hate snakes.
