Fundraising Page for Tucson Out of the Darkness Walk

October 7, 2012 at Reid Park - Ramadas 14 & 15

Dear Friend,

I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide to walk in AFSP's Tucson Out of the Darkness Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 36,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Donating online is safe and easy! To make an online donation please click the link below, then on the "make a donation", next in the box type in our team name: Greene Team.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

you are doing a great thing. I lost my only brother to suicide when he was 18. Definitely a great cause!

Thank You NatureGirl, Feb 15, 2000 my wife's little brother Joel took his own life. We are walking in memory of Joel Greene#30 this Sunday. His older brother is a member of the forum here. He is...... the ''GreeneMachine.''

Hopefully this post raises some awareness of a serious issue that is seldom discussed.

Thanks again.

As a teacher, it seems every year we lose one of our kids to suicide.

Very tough to take, and hard to understand.

One of my state champion wrestlers, served a mission for his church, came home and started a business.

May their minds and spirits have peace where they are now and Lord help those even thinking of such a thing know that they are more important here with us on this earth than they are on the other side.

Young lives cut way too short.

Thanks for your efforts Jimmy.......

My friend, his wife the beloved brother of Elias are walking as well on Sunday. Thank you for the kind words, but I can not take credit. My wife has been pulling the strings and making most of this happen. But I'm trying.
