6ANut Report post Posted September 26, 2012 I was listening to a gentleman yesterday that was on every goverment welfare program there is in the state. I could not help and notice how Drugged out this guy was, meth, coke, whatever. My problem is why the heck are we paying for his drugs?? Why are these people not drug tested? Now Im not saying all people on welfare are druggies but should us the tax paying public pay for their Drugs. http://www.statisticbrain.com/welfare-statistics/ Almost 132 Billion dollars annually is spent each year(not including food stamps or Unemployment) on our welfare system. Why should the tax paying public buy their drugs????? Im not against anyone that does drugs, beer, perscription pain killers, coffee lol, whatever thats your choice but when I am paying for it I have a problem. If our goverment would just pass a law saying that everyone who recieves goverment funding is subject to drug testing , fail = no $$$$, pass and here is your cash. Bet the amount of money spent towards the bottom half of our society would be different. I just dont get why we should Invest in all these losing people, that are doing nothing to help Our society. Just been one of those days, 44 days till deer and 65 days till elk and I cant wait to get away from all this crap. I think the $ we send to terrorist countries, like billions of $ would be better spent here,. this country allows more immigration and gives more $ ($ that we borrow to aid 3rd world countries that hate us) than any country in the world. But we are the evil ones! We transport people to get methadone for their drug habit! Guess who pays? Taxpayers! We can go on and on about this. The welfare program is backed by Union type thugs! Doesn't matter what you do you can't get fired or in this case kicked off welfare. And god forbid 1 of us needs a little help.. Snapshot Report post Posted September 27, 2012 Yep. Its just as bad when I see mothers buying their kids candy and sodas with Food stamp cards. Many abusers of the system. Obama loves it. Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted September 27, 2012 Don't even get me started on this one.........my wife came home the other night from buying a few groceries. Two people in front of her paid with food stamp card......spent $300 bucks and then $150 bucks for the second one......sculpted nails, nice truck out in the parking lot.......and we are barely getting by pay check to pay check. Both of us work......would never ask and would never qualify for any help. Never been out of work, always able to find work............ They ought to be sweeping the streets, choppin the weeds etc. before they collect anything..................yep, don't get me goin on this one..................too late............. reganranch Report post Posted September 27, 2012 I have a problem with people doing drugs because those worthless pos people who don't work or do anything to contribute to society they are leeches and crutch this great nation. And when they run out of high money which isn't long they break into homes and steal people's belongings and other goods. Our farm house had been broken into once and it was a serious of break ins related to tweekers. Man I would've loved to run into those tweekers on our property with my buddies smith and wesson.
