Well after a two year drought, I got drawn.

 

Unit 32 November Whitetail.

 

Has anyone been out to Deer Creek area?

 

Last time I scouted Upper Rattlesnake area there was talk of locking up the access to Deer creek trail head.

 

China Peak here I come.

I drew that same tag and I'm planning on heading down there some time in the next month. If you don't hear anything I'll give you an update. I haven't hunted down there in 3 years, usually up near Klondyke, but I was going to check out the Deer Creek area on my trip.

If you want to go to powers garden youd better pack a good lunch they locked the gates way below where you normally would have started

I've hunted Mule deer in 32 around pride ranch and have driven up to jackson cabin a few times , always see nice coues bucks in the area..

I have to second Mulie hunter's words. I have seen some nice deer there and along the power line road.

I hunted china peak and deer creek last year in october. We were able to drive right up and were able to access it no problem. I dont know if anything has changed since then though.

I hunted 32 in December last year, hunted by Mamoth, seen alot of deer, got a decent 3pt. good luck.

Since I didnt get drawn for deer we were planning a trip to hike into power gardens, heard it was some nice country back in there. So do you guys know for sure if the gates are locked out. I've never been there, dont wanna go if we gotta hike 10 miles to the trailhead and another 8 to get in to power gardens. We were gunna try our luck with some fall bear tags. Has any one seen any sign up in that area? But if all we do is glass deer ill be happy!!!!
