huntlines Report post Posted September 22, 2012 Any of you guys returning from unit 27, if you have any advise or maybe areas where you saw big bulls please let me know. My son has his rifle hunt that opens on Friday. Done a little scouting but this weekend has been a little slow. Not much bugling where we have been the last few days. Heard of one spot with a possible 380 bull but other than that not much. Looks like the archery hunters may have had the best of the rut. A little cooler weather this week and a chance of rain so I'm crossing my fingers they will start to fire back up again. Have talked to a few of you already and appreciate the information so far.
