Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted September 20, 2012 Arizona always amazes me. We were headed down the the valley Sunday morning for some grandkid time. We left Snowflake pretty early so I am counting on seeing some elk, deer and you never know maybe some antelope on the trip down. Just north of the last big climb before dropping into the valley I notice this guy cruising on the shoulder cars whizzing by 65mph. We pulled over and backed up, checked the guy out and then Cole took him off down into the wash to see if he could avoid an head-on with the Sunday morning traffic. We live in such a dynamic state...........

rcdinaz Report post Posted September 20, 2012 Awesome! They are really active right now because the weather is perfect for them. I only know because my wife and kids have one as a pet along with 3 other families we know. They are smarter than we give them credit for as well, ours comes to the door and follows our 2 year old around waiting for food.
BASS Report post Posted September 20, 2012 rcdinaz, our that we've had for ever is just about potty trained! LOL He comes inside some days and crashes sprawled out in a bedroom or under a table, and then wants back out a few hours later.
rcdinaz Report post Posted September 20, 2012 That is funny! We had an African spur that was big enough to clear the step for the back door and would come in looking for food if it saw my daughter. He got too big and started getting a bit aggressive with the kids if he was eating so he is now at my sisters. She has boys and they just think it is funny when he hisses at them or the dog. It is getting really big and goes through at least a head of lettuce a day, helps keep the lawn mowed also .
