azhuntnut Report post Posted September 17, 2012 I shot video of this bull in the middle of the day. It seemed kind of crazy since I was on five bulls that morning about 15 miles away and 500 foot less elevation and they didn't show any signs of the rutting. I think some of the younger cows in this herd came into estrus and got this bull fired up. I stayed with him for about two hours without ever being detected. When I got the video I was only wearing camo pants and a green tshirt standing right out in the open. Man I wish I had a tag in my pocket. Several times I have seen bachelor herds of bulls in the rut with no bugling and in the next canyon over there be a few bulls bugling and thrashing trees around a herd, Great bull!
