Who's gonna be the first to post their elk???

I am at work extremely jealous of everyone in the field. Who is going to be the first to post a pic of their elk??? I am sure there are a few that have already hit the ground!

Thats a technical foul! great pics though. What is really sad though is this- I have elk fever so bad I was looking to see if they were spikes and for a second thought the rope on yours was an antler. haha

Agree...working today but already in the woods in my mind. Heading up to 27 early tomorrow morning. Can't wait!

Lol I was thinking the same thing! This morning at 5am I woke my husband up to tell him ... "you know how many guys are out there chasing bugles right now? I'm so jealous!" He unfortunately did not share the same enthusiasm I did and told me to "be quiet and go back to sleep" Hmphhh!

Good luck to everyone out their with a stick and some string. So jealous of everyone that is smelling the best smell in the world, Elk all day and then sit around a camp fire with a steak and some brown liquor to make the joints feel better, thats the life.

I convinced my husband to take an extra day off next week and we are going up to Duwane Adams elk camp to help out where we can for a few days. Will be great to get out in the woods listening to elk! Maybe you should come with us!

I've already got a week off annual leave scheduled at work my dad and I are heading out next Friday for a week in the woods chasing elk with a stick in string!
