DesertBull Report post Posted July 24, 2006 Anyone going to brave the heat for a mid-August bear hunt? I found a place that is loaded up with fresh sign and tracks, but it is a long hike and it is in the desert. My first inclination is to wait till the end of Aug, but the season might be closed by then.

rimhunter Report post Posted July 24, 2006 Eyeguards You better get out there and do some scouting you only have two weekends left and season starts in some areas . Ive been out the last three weeks going out about every outer day or so looking for bear sign
Big Browns Report post Posted July 24, 2006 It sounds like were all going to be sweating are butts off. Im going to be hunting unit 1 so it should be nice an cool, but if that doesn't work I'll be in the desert. If any of you guys want to save money on gas while scouting let me know I would'nt mind looking at some new area's or showing people new area's. Adam

Dan H Report post Posted July 25, 2006 Desert Bull sent you a couple e-mails recently. I live at higley/germain you want to meet? and talk bear. I was planning a 23 opening hunt seeing lots of sign. If the pears are not in, there is plenty of other fruit. Dan
