mpriest Report post Posted August 30, 2012 I have lived in Flagstaff my whole life and never seen a whitetail in 11M...until this year. I went into the season with the thought of anything with antlers within archery range I will take. Well the first thing that stepped into range was a Coues! Almost ran me over. On opening night he walked up to me and gave me a 13 yard frontal shot. Has anyone else shot a whitetail in 11M or know anyone who has? EDIT: Justposted a picture I got of him preseason. This Picture was over a mile from where I shot him.

AZMThunter Report post Posted August 31, 2012 This is my second year archery elk in 11M, and not in all my scouting trips and hunt days last year, or scouting trips this year, or any of the (4) game cameras I have up there have I ran across a coues deer. What general area were you in? Just curious. Nice find and nice buck!
