m77 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 I would like all hunters to respect each other. To put up a tree stand and pin a note on it telling other hunters to stay away is selfish at best. Carry them in in the morning and carry them out in the evening. If another hunter gets in there first and puts up his tree stand, so be it. Then hunt your backup spot. bojangles Report post Posted September 3, 2012 ettiquette? who needs ettiquitte? I like to build brush blinds and put my pop up inside, and take it with me when i leave. treestands are trickier, but, honestly, get out of my treestand. get your own treestand. that said, i'd help a fellow hunter get an animal as best as i could. i'd probly let a guy sit my stand if he asked and was nice about it if i had already tagged out or had other spots i wanted to hunt. SirRoyal Report post Posted September 3, 2012 Interesting read . I'm with TJ. Hard to get mad at an apologetic hunter! The good Guys always win one way or the other.
