AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted August 27, 2012 Well the big boys didnt come in all Weekend. I guess thats how they get big. Took this deer Sat. Evening 8/25 around 5:15 pm. By noon on Sun. we had 3 deer about this size and a spike hanging in camp with 3 guys still out hunting. All in all it was a great hunt with allot of great people. reganranch Report post Posted August 27, 2012 What did the rain do last week in your unit Speedy? I ended up spotting and stockn with my buddy because the natural spring we had planned on sitting there was a ton of erosion/sand on top of the first couple pools. AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted August 27, 2012 Rained a light sprinkle Fri. am for about 10 min. then poured Sun. Morning for about an hour. That was it. I wasnt sitting water though either. James Thanks James, I thought about waiting them out and hunting next weekend but I have a German Shorthair that has come down with an agressive cancer.
