PRDATR Report post Posted August 27, 2012 In 6A you can expect a big variation in weather patterns and snow and muddy roads can exist. The Ceder Flats east of Camp Verde and north of Clear Creek will hold a few.
pwrguy Report post Posted August 27, 2012 I like the canyon country where you can sit and glass. I have also bumped a few WT up high in the pine trees just walking along looking for elk. You will have to cover a lot of miles hunting for them that way though.
oz31p Report post Posted August 27, 2012 Any rifle coues tag is a great tag. They all require hard work and long hikes. 6a is a great tag.

m77 Report post Posted August 27, 2012 I like the search engine of this website forum. Use it to your advantage. You will find out a lot more about coues in area 6a using the search engine than you will asking the question. Use the " button before and after the word you choose to search for. Example: "6a" or "clear creek" or "area 6a". Good Luck, this forum is full of information and don't forget to study the photos you find.
