Airbusdriver Report post Posted August 24, 2012 I'm in a bit of a quandary. I may try an early bow hunt next week, and was just wondering: what are my options for hanging & cooling my meat. I usually do a Michigan hunt in the fall or winter hunt here in AZ, so keeping the meat cool to age is not a problem. What do you all do to age your meat in the late summer months? Obviously, the first step is to get the carcass skinned out, but what then? Are there places with walk-in coolers that will let you hang a carcass for 4-5 days for a small fee? Would enjoy hearing some ideas..thanks.
