AxisWorks LLC Report post Posted August 23, 2012 Everything is packed the stands are hung and it's finally getting time to reap the benifits of all the work we have put in the last 3 months. One last evening of flinging arrows before heading up the hill tomorrow to set up camp. Decide to run a few through the chronograph since a new string was added. 308, 299. 280, 270...??? Strange... Start examining bow...lower limb cracked inside right below the riser. CRAP! Called a few hunting buddies one who I knew had an Identical bow in the shop waiting on a new cam. It happend to be at Broken Arrow Archery (which I haven't ever been to before) Robert was one foot out the door leaving for his hunt last night but thankfully was willing to postpone his plan to swap my buddies limb out for my broken one. Talk about a little added stress last evening. I think we're good to go again. Speedy.

AverageJoe Report post Posted August 23, 2012 Robert is a very good guy. He has always went out of his way to help me. He even left a party one night at ten pm to meet me at his shop to help me out.
Guest akaspecials Report post Posted August 23, 2012 +1 for Broken Arrow Archery. Robert is a great guy and has never done me wrong. I've had to be patient once or twice since he's a one man shop, but it has always been worth it since he does such great work. I have 5 shops closer to me but I still take 90% of my archery needs to his shop. Good luck tomorrow!

Viper Report post Posted August 23, 2012 He will definatly be getting my bussiness when I need it from here on out. Robert is a great guy, I've known him for years. he does good work. If you plan to stay until your job is done you will need some patience, and take some snacks....like mentioned, he is a one man operation and gets interupted regularly. But he will make sure it is done right before you leave. I prefer to support the local mom/pop shop.
chico Report post Posted August 23, 2012 + 1 on that. Robert has hooked me up plenty of times. All my bows-arrows have been purchased thru him. Bow Techs. Does good work, very thorough, would recommend getting your bow needs done with Robert. Support the small shop-- Broken Arrow Archery.
