Coues Kid Report post Posted August 20, 2012 Went to Pena Blanca Today they did a really great job on the boat ramp and lake. got there at 5 am off by 12:30 pm caught tons of little guys who think they can take on the world. unfortunately did not get into any of the big bass they stocked lake got flooded by the storms and has like 3 inches of thick mud on top all and all great day out on the water. BirdDog20 Report post Posted August 20, 2012 I was hoping they would've stocked it with nothing but minnows and left them for a year. Get a good foundation of baitfish, then add the predators after the foundation is established so that the bass / catfish / crappie (if they did crappie) don't get stunted. I guess they added some lunkers ... but things can get out of balance quick if there's no forage. How does the burn look like it's recovering? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
