Tripod Adaptor for Swaro EL?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering what is the best to use? I got one from Sportsman's Warehouse and think it not so great and easy to adjust. I have heard there is a shop in PHX that can drill into the binos and it doesn't void warranty. What do you all use?

Go to the outdoorsman on cave creek. They will drill and tap and add a stud in the front of your binoculars. Best system for the EL's

+1

Hands down the best adapter on the market! Especially for the EL's.

Thats a really great idea of tapping a hole then placing a stud, so if its ever stripped the stud can be removed, and you save the internal threads.

+1 on the outdoorsman system. just to clarify,i don't believe there's any drilling involved. i'm pretty sure the front hinge pin is threaded so it's just a matter of screw out-screw in.

Thanks all.

Westernhunter23, I got the 12's also and haven't even been out with em yet. How do you like them?

They are amazing! You will be very happy with them. I have compared them next to 15's and what you lose in power you gain in extreme clarity. They are light enough to hold and look through and their FOV is just as good as 10x binos. The image is just so clear it is unbelievable! You will love them!

Do you know how much the outdoorsman charges?

They told me $55.

Plus you have to buy their tripod adapter to attach to the stud which costs $90. It is all well worth it. Best tripod adapter on the market plus the only one that really works with the ELs
