Scope crosshair help!!

Recommended Posts

Took my wife out this afternoon to shoot the rifle getting her ready for her oryx hunt. After 5 shots the dang crosshairs in the scope twisted sidways. The rifle is still on but I need to move the shot 1 inch to the right. If I make the adjustment it seems like it will go up right instead of horizontal right. Make sense? We only have 2 weeks till her hunt. Any advice from you guys would be great! Thinkin of just gettin a new scope and sending this one back to Burris. thanks, Jake

Do what you are thinking. Burris is a great company and will take care of you. Here in AZ, the sales rep offered to let people take one of his sample scopes and use them on a hunt. I see no reason why the one in NM will not. call Burris, tell them your situation and ask them if you can get in contact with your local rep. I would be willing to bet he or she will let you sample one of their top end scopes. Whatever you do, do not try and hunt with that scope. The last thing you want is for it to fail while on the hunt. Contact Burris first thing tommorrow and I am sure you will get an outstanding resolution to your problem.
